Data and API
Every figure on AV8 is available by API and as files. Each response states its sources, its licence and the basis of every figure.
One response shape
The same envelope as N84 DB. AV8 adds a basis for each field group and a link to each method used.

| data | The figures, keyed to the flight record: airline, route, airport, aircraft type, cabin, week or date. |
| meta.basis | Observed, published or estimated, for every field group. |
| meta.methods | The named method behind each estimate, with its formula and measured error. |
| meta.licence, sources, withheld | The licence of this part, every source with its check date, and any field left out with the reason. |

Endpoints
Send the key as Authorization: Bearer, or the x-api-key header. Codes accept ICAO or IATA.

Two licences, kept apart
Flight data derived from adsb.lol is published under the Open Database Licence 1.0. Compiled published data (Fare Anatomy, reported results, seat configurations) is N84 AV8's own. A response never mixes the two under one licence field. The flight database is also available as the open download.

Get an API key
A link is emailed to confirm the address. The key is shown once when the link is opened; only its SHA-256 hash is stored.
With N84 DB
An airport in AV8 links to its place in N84 DB through public endpoints only. No tables are shared.
